Name of Committee:
The name of this committee shall be the Budget Committee.
Purpose of Committee:
The purpose of this committee shall be to develop a budget for LKNEA to be submitted to the Executive Board.
Chairperson Responsibilities:
The Chairperson of this committee shall oversee all activities of the committee. They shall recruit members of the committee. The Chairperson shall report committee activities to the President on a regular basis.
Committee Responsibilities:
This committee shall:
A. Develop a proposed budget for presentation to the Executive Board
B. Advise the Treasurer and Executive Board in fiscal matters
Membership:
This committee shall consist of the LKNEA Treasurer, who shall act as Chairperson, and 3-5 members, appointed by the President upon the recommendation of the Chairperson.
The President shall be an ex officio member of the committee.
Meeting Times:
This committee shall meet as necessary.
Deadlines:
A. Develop a proposed budget for the next year prior to the March Executive Board meeting.
