Name of Committee:
The name of this committee shall be the Professional Excellence Committee.
Purpose of Committee:
The purpose of this committee shall be to promote Professional Excellence of membership through trainings and the distribution of information
Chairperson Responsibilities:
The Chairperson of this committee shall oversee all activities of the committee. They shall recruit members of the committee. The Chairperson shall report committee activities to the President on a regular basis.
Committee Responsibilities:
This committee shall:
A. Coordinate 2 Site Rep trainings annually.
B. Promote trainings available at Fall Event and April Leadership conferences.
C. Survey members for additional training needs, and coordinate those trainings.
D. Other assignments as directed by the Executive Board
Membership:
This committee shall consist of a Chairperson and additional members, evenly divided between the 2 bargaining units. Members will be appointed by the President upon the recommendation of the Chairperson.
The President shall be an ex officio member of the committee.
Meeting Times:
This committee shall meet as necessary.
