Name of Committee:
The name of this committee shall be the Public Relations Committee.
Purpose of Committee:
The purpose of this committee shall be to promote LKNEA.
Chairperson Responsibilities:
The Chairperson of this committee shall oversee all activities of the committee. They shall recruit members of the committee. The Chairperson shall report committee activities to the President on a regular basis.
Committee Responsibilities:
This committee shall:
A. Publish a monthly LKNEA Newsletter
B. Create advertisements for LKNEA for publishing in local newspapers as directed by the Executive Board
C. Promote the LKNEA monthly video conferences
D. Other assignments as directed by the Executive Board
Membership:
This committee shall consist of 3-5 members, appointed by the President upon the recommendation of the Chairperson.
The President shall be an ex officio member of the committee.
Meeting Times:
This committee shall meet as necessary.
Deadlines:
A. Publish the newsletter by the 20 of each month, August-April
a. December deadline shall be Dec 10
B. Create an ad congratulating all LKSD Graduates by May 1 for publishing in local newspapers
C. Create an ad congratulating the LKNEA scholarship winners by May 25 for publishing in local newspapers.
D. Other deadlines as directed by the Executive Board.
