Name of Committee:
The name of this committee shall be the School Board Representative Committee.
Purpose of Committee:
The purpose of this committee shall be a liaison to the LKSD Board.
Chairperson Responsibilities:
The Chairperson of this committee shall oversee all activities of the committee. They shall recruit members of the committee. The Chairperson shall report committee activities to the President on a regular basis.
Committee Responsibilities:
This committee shall:
A. Have a member attend all LKSD Board meetings.
B. Speak for the Association at LKSD Board meetings, within the guidelines of the Executive Board.
C. Report to the Executive Board and membership on actions of the LKSD Board.
Membership:
This committee shall consist of at least one Certified member and one Classified member, one of who will act as Chairperson. Members will be appointed by the President upon the recommendation of the Chairperson.
The President shall be an ex officio member of the committee.
Meeting Times:
This committee shall meet as necessary.
Deadlines:
A. The committee shall make sure someone represents LKNEA at all LKSD Board meetings.
